Together We: Learn, Grow, Lead
Grange Hall Families,
Here's a recap:
- Boosterthon Fun Run
- Duct taping Principal Jones
- Spring Birthday Book celebration
- Honoring a WWII veteran
Thank you to all of our families and friends for supporting our school through pledges helping our students to reach our fundraising goal of $30,000. On Friday, two classes (Mrs. Drahms & Mr. Charbonneau's classes) got to duct tape me to the wall. These two classes were our top two classes during our Boosterthon Fundraiser. In addition, students celebrating Spring birthdays were recognized by Mrs. Schneeberger during the birthday book celebration.
Most importantly, our school modeled the definition of community and patriotism by honoring WWII Veteran, Andrew James Schmitz who died protecting our freedom while serving on the USS Oklahoma at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941. A moment that I know our faculty, staff, and students will remember for a long time.
This week, we will March Into Art Week at Grange Hall. Students are encouraged to draw their favorite animal and bring it to Art class this week. In addition, fifth grade parents are welcome to join us for our in-school B.O.B. competition this Friday.
Grange Hall Running Bulldogs - Coached by Jessica Sutton & Tammie Murray
Running Club kicks off on Wednesday, March 25 from 7:40 am - 8:10 am. Please return permission slips by Friday, March 20.
Throughout March, help us celebrate why we are LUCKY to be Grange Hall Bulldogs! Click this link to share with us why you feel lucky, and your story could be featured on our school social media pages! #GHESProud #LearnGrowLead
With gratitude,

Message from GHES PTA
New Business:
We have done an amazing job reaching out to friends and family for our fundraiser this year. We are so excited!! Wouldn’t it be fantastic to complete the 50 state challenge during our bonus week of pledging? We only need 13 more states!!!
Even though our run was completed Thursday we have until Thursday, March 12th to turn in cash or checks to school or make donations online. So it’s not too late to get those last pledges. Prizes will be distributed Friday for students who reach additional prize levels over the next week.
If we are able to complete our 50 state challenge the students can decide if they want to have crazy hair day or pie Mr. Ondrish in the face?

Kindergarten Online Registration is OPEN!
If you are a family of a rising kindergarten student or know of a family who will be sending a child to kindergarten during the 2020-21 school year, it’s time to start thinking about kindergarten registration.
Great news! We’ve got an opportunity to save some time on April 16, which is Kindergarten Registration Day at every elementary school in Chesterfield County.
Visit https://mychesterfieldschools.com/family-and-community-engagement/preparing-for-school/student-registration/kindergarten-registration/ and preregister for kindergarten today. Doing so should cut in half any wait time on Kindergarten Registration Day.
Please remember to share this message with any family you know who has a rising kindergarten student!
Need to report your child's absence?
- If you complete this Google form, you do not need to send in a written note or call the clinic.
- Please remember that the automated calls regarding student absences are sent via our electronic attendance program - not by the school.
- Our secretaries update our daily attendance each day based upon the form linked below - most times we can make it before calls go out; however, on a busier morning, we may not get the update until after a phone call is placed. If you document the absence below, it will be corrected in our system daily.
