Camera Angles
Camera angles make the video or picture look more appealing to the audience.
Birds Eye View
The birds eye angle is taken from up high like where a bird would view the scene. It makes the object look small and powerless.
Worms Eye View
The worms eye view is taken from the ground where a worm would view the scene. It makes the object look large and powerful.
Eye Level View
The eye level view is taken from straight on where a person would view the scene. It makes the object look regular size, or how a person would view it.
Significance of Each Angle and Shot.
The commercial has the medium, long, and close up shots to show the different features of the car and to persuade people to buy the car. It also uses the birds eye view and worms eye view to show how it is unique and stands out. It also uses the straight on angle, this angle is used to show you what you would see if you purchase the car.
Rules of Thirds
The rules of third is when you put 2 lines vertically and horizontly splitting the picture into 9 even boxes. When you take the picture you want the main object to be placed where 2 lines meet. The rules of thirds makes the picture more attractive to the eye.
Close up Shot
The close up shot shows details of the car, mainly showing its front side.
Extreme Close Up
The extreme close up shot shows a lot of detail, and focuses on 1 object or person.
Point of View
This shot shows the car, shows another cars perspective on the car, and shows features of the back and how it is unique from the other cars passing by.
