Welcome Mrs. Grinnell, our new Physical Education Teacher!
Mrs. Grinnell is thrilled to join the Oakley Park family! She has many year of experience in Walled Lake school, having worked at many of our elementries including Oakley Park!
Below is a special message from Mr. Little:
Greetings!
I hope summer has been treating all of you well enjoying the warmth of the sun, being with friends and family, and the extended daylight summer provides. The reason for the this letter is to let you know that I have chosen to take a position teaching health sciences at the middle schools (Smart and Creek) for the next school year, and will not be returning to Oakley Park. The relationships formed with students, staff, and parents have been wonderful. I want to thank you for the opportunity to get to know you while working with your child(ren) for the last two years. My only wish was that I was able to say goodbye to the kids personally at the end of the school year. However, I didn’t learn of the official transfer until after the school year ended. If you would extend a goodbye from me to the children, I would be very grateful. Your children will be in good hands with Mrs. Linda Grinnell and she is beyond excited to be the full time physical education teacher.
With all my heart, thank you for the wonderful experience at Oakley Park for the last two years as the physical education teacher. I wish you and your children a happy, fulfilled, and fun 2018-2019 school year.
Best wishes,
Mark Little
