About Spelling

Thank you for working so hard with your child on spelling. This is a difficult adjustment for kids because spelling is a new subject and, because of all we have to fit into the school year, we move rather quickly. As far as the yellow spelling menu is concerned, please use it at your discretion. If your child does well consistently, don't worry about it, but if your child struggles, the menu offers a variety of ways to practice. Again, use your best judgement.

Morning Assembly

Monday-Katie Scott - March of Dimes

Tuesday-First in Math awards

Wednesday-Wee Deliver stamp winners

Thursday-2 4th graders will talk about Anti-bully month

Friday- birthdays

We will encourage students to wear a star on Friday for the Spirit day as we are all STARS at Pebble Creek. (Wear a star, do not dress up as a star!)

Odds and Ends

Thanks to all who volunteered time and donated things to make our fall party such a huge success! We couldn't have done it without you!

Remember to be reading on Raz-Kids and working on First in Math regularly at home. These are great resources for first grade academic practice!
