The First Week in October is Respect Week
Everybody knows what the 3 R’s of teaching are – reading, writing, and ‘rithmetic, but teaching also, includes respect and responsibility. Teachers help to facilitate skills with students on how to build positive relationships with their others. Strong teacher-student relationships naturally foster a positive and safe learning environment where much learning will take place and where all students will become capable, connected, and contributing members of their classrooms and community.
