3rd and 4th grade PARCC Testing
Our 3rd and 4th grade students will be taking the PARCC exam on March 10th, 11th & 12th. This test will begin each morning at 8:00am. It’s very important that your child be on time so they can participate with their class on this test. Testing will end around noon on Tuesday and Wednesday, and at 9:30am on Thursday. A good breakfast at home or at school is encouraged along with a restful night. Your child has been practicing with their class on this new assessment and we know they are going to do their very best!
Lunch Schedule March 10th, 11th & 12th
2nd grade- 10:30-11:00
1st grade- 11:00-11:30
3rd grade- 12:00-12:30
4th grade- 12:15-12:45
· Because our 3rd & 4th Graders will be taking the State Assessments we are changing the lunch schedule for March 10th, 11th & 12th.
SHREK THE MUSICAL: 2nd GRADE

Re-scheduled Date: Tuesday, March 10th
2nd grade students will be transported to the CHS auditorium to attend the Cabot High School Theatre production of Shrek the Musical. Students will leave Southside Elementary at noon. We are so excited that the High School was able to re-schedule this wonderful production and we are looking forward to an exciting fine arts event!
School will be in session on Friday, March 20th. (Snow day)

All this information is available in one place and right at your fingertips. It’s also free and just a single download away.
The free official Cabot Public Schools app is available right now in the App Store for iPhones and on Google Play for Android users.
If you have an iPhone, to get started visit the App Store and search for Cabot Public Schools or Cabot School District. Once you find it, just click on it to download the app to your phone.
If you have an Android phone, you’ll go to Google Play, and again either search Cabot Public Schools or Cabot School District and download it to your phone.
Once it’s downloaded, you’ll want to explore all the features available. It’s a great place to stay connected.

Each Box Top is worth 1 point. Points will be updated weekly. You can check your class progress on the front wall! Prizes will be:
500 points= Popcorn Party
1,000 points= Popsicles
1,500 points= Ice Cream
2,000 points= Snow Cones
3,000= Pizza Party
Remember you will be working as a class! Your teacher will also get some cool incentives when the students do!
