Nelson Mandela

Early Life
Nelson Mandela was born on July 18, 1918 to a royal family in a South African tribe. His parent belonged to the Thembu tribe, in the South African village of Mvezo. Nelson father was Gadla Mphakanyiswa chief of the tribe, and his mother was Nosekeni Fanny, the third of Galda's wives. Nelson Mandela, born with the birth name of Rolihlahla, had 9 sisters and 4 brothers. After Mandela's father died when he was 9, he was soon adopted by Jongintaba Dalindyebo, where he started to raise Mandela to be a part of the tribes leadership.
