Hawk Highlights
April 6, 2022
Dear Families of the Hollys,
We are excited to announce that our amazing PTCO is currently hosting a month-long Hollys Family Giving Campaign to raise funds for the upcoming school year. Further details about this thoughtful fundraising opportunity and ways you can contribute are listed below within the PTCO Newsletter.
April is here! While the extended forecast currently looks wonderful, we know from living in Colorado that the weather can change at any time. A reminder that we do go outside as much as possible, as long as the temperature, inclusive of wind chill, is above 19 degrees. Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.
A reminder that grades 3, 4 and 5 have started Colorado Measure of Academic Success (CMAS) testing and will continue through the month of April. Your child’s teacher has the testing schedule applicable to your student(s). Thank you for trying to avoid any appointments on these mornings so students can complete testing.
Each day I have the privilege of walking through our classrooms to watch as our teachers and students work together. I watch as our teachers implement instruction that engages and excites students. I watch as students work hard to learn new content and celebrate as a community. Each day I see adults helping students grow. One critical factor that also impacts a child’s academic success is school attendance. You can positively contribute to your child’s growth and achievement by making attendance at school a priority. Attendance habits established in elementary school can last throughout a child's academic life.
We are here to support your family on your child’s educational journey. We thank you for your partnership each day. Please do not hesitate to reach out for support, ideas or questions.

Chris Toliver
