Symbiotic Relationships
Mutualism Relationships
One example is when the oxpecker rest on the African Buffalo and picks off the parasites this cleans the buffalo and feeds the bird. Also an elephant can get cleaned by the elephant bird. This gives the bird food and nutrients. A rhino can be get the parasites off by getting the egrets to feed on him. This will make both of the animals happy.
Commensalism Relationships
The eagle eats a decomposed animal, but the decomposed animal is not harmed because he is dead. The killdeer bird lands on a cape buffalo and the buffalo protects the bird. The bird does not do anything in return. A girrafe eats the tree, but the tree is not harmed.
Parasitism Relationships
One example is fleas on a prarie dog. Then in grasslands their are lions. On those lions are ticks trying to get the nutrients it needs. Then mistletoe wraps around the Silver Birch tree for water.
