Bulldozing Farms Isn't "Green"

Tell MCCC to Preserve West Windsor's Open Space and Heritage

Mercer County Community College and its investing partners are preparing to destroy 45 acres of farmland to build a massive solar array. The short-sighted project was designed without any engagement with the community and trades one of the town's greatest assets for a small profit.

MCCC should be leading the charge for SUSTAINABLE development by placing solar projects over parking lots and on roofs. Instead, the college has chosen to cash in on the New Jersey solar "land rush" while painting itself as an environmental champion.
