Christmas Tour of Homes

The holidays are upon us, and we have a perfect way to get you in the spirit. The Mars Hill Band is sponsoring a Christmas Tour of Homes this Sunday, December 6, from 2:00 until 4:00. Homes on the tour include the historic Larimore Home, Dr. and Mrs. Jody Hanson's home (1809 Mars Hill Rd.), Mr. and Mrs. Ty Watson's home (284 Crystal Springs Dr.) and Mr. and Mrs. Joey Krieger's home (960 Co. Rd. 46). Tickets are $10 each. Call 256-767-1203 Ext. 2035 for tickets.

Congrats to NHS Inductees

Congratulations to the new inductees of the National Honor Society: Lakin Berry, Roxie Hipps, Colton Knox, Jolie Bates, Cara Grace Berry, Sarah Henry, Allie Mitchell, Jude Owens, Hannah Pope, Chandler Ross, Sara Beth Searcy, Annah Steadman, and Seth Swinea.

The induction ceremony will be on Wed., Dec. 9 at 2:45 in the auditorium.

Media Center: Will You Help?

Students will love exploring these high-interest titles with fun topics, full-cover photographs, and cool facts. The collection of 32 titles includes Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens,and twenty-seven more.

If we can order that set, we will receive a free set of Extreme Sports, including Barefoot Waterskiing, Cliff Diving, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Personal Watercraft, and sixteen more.

Yearbooks are on sale! In order to get the best price, you need to place your order no later than December 18. Avoid price increases by ordering before deadlines listed below.

You may send cash or a check made out to Mars Hill Bible School. Please include the student’s name and grade or use the order forms that were given to students at an earlier date. You may also order from the Mars Hill Bible School website. On the home page, click on the yearbook icon, and order your yearbook using a credit card. Please note that the company will charge you a $2.00 processing fee.

Middle School Tutoring

Free tutoring for middle school students is available on Monday through Thursday from 3 until 4 pm in Mrs. Owens's room (#M132). Please let the office or Mrs. Owens know if your student will be coming and which days he or she will come.
