Yoga for Stress & Anxiety Relief

A Yoga Class for Everyone
Yoga can teach us how to cultivate a sense of calm even in the midst of overstimulating situations.
During some stressful times, we experience cluttered, anxious thoughts and tension in our muscles. Living with in this state often creates the sense that we must constantly live in mental and physical turmoil. Fortunately, yoga can our guide to relief! And we can often feel the effects immediately. As we focus on movement and the breath, yoga stills our ceaseless thinking, worrying, and projecting into the future.
This four-week series will include practice in the following areas:
-Highlights of Yoga philosophy & insight on how an agitated state of mind can be calmed.
-A gentle yoga sequence aimed at soothing the physical body and releasing physical tension.
-Breath awareness
-Meditation
-Guided relaxation
-Extended Savasana
4-Week Session -- $50 -- Thursdays 6:30 - 7:45 October 23 & 30 and November 6 & 13
