B-C-S Music Boosters Dueling Pianos Fundraiser
Please join the BCS Music Boosters for an evening filled with the comedic musical talents of the professionals from Main Street Dueling Pianos at our hometown VFW Hall. Ticket sales will begin December 14th and the $45 price includes dinner and drinks. Doors open at 6:30 pm and evening concludes at 10:30 pm.
Sunday Fun Open Swims at Oak Harbor High School
Benton-Carroll-Salem Schools is pleased to announce new times for Sunday Fun Open Swims at the Oak Harbor High School Pool for all B-C-S students, families, and community members starting on January 12, 2020. Racquet ball courts will also be open to adults during these times. The pool and racquet ball courts will be open on the following Sundays from 2:00 until 4:00 PM: January 12, 19, 26; February 2, 9, 16, 23; March 1, March 8, March 15.
Pool admission cost to be paid at the door for B-C-S students is only $1, and B-C-S adults will be $2. Racque tball courts will be open to B-C-S adults only for an additional charge of $2 (limit 4 per court). A lifeguard and site director will be on site to ensure safety. Please note that these Sunday Fun times will be cancelled if Ottawa County is on a Level Two or Level Three Snow Emergency as announced by the Ottawa County Sheriff.

OHMS Spelling Bee
OHMS held its annual school-wide spelling bee on December 19th. Finishing first was Aidan Boss, Carson Slates finished second, and Madison Torres finished third.
They will all represent OHMS at the county spelling bee.

Congratulations to Nate Mansor for signing his National Letter of Intent to continue his Academic and Athletic Career at Tiffin University to play Tennis
- The Women’s team finished in 7th place while the Men’s team placed 6 at the Subway Invitational. Everyone swam well!

- Save the date! The OHHS Cheerleaders will be hosting their Annual Winter Mini Cheer Clinic on Saturday, February 8th. Location TBD. This WILL NOT be in the OHHS Aux Gym! Fliers coming home soon. Go Rockets!
- The Rocket Varsity Boys Basketball Team defeats Genoa by the final score of 59-36
- JV Boys Basketball defeats Genoa by the score of 41-26
- Congratulations to Cade Petersen for winning the “Sportsmanship Award” at the Medina Invitational.

- Congratulations to the Rocket Wrestling team for their 2nd place finish at The prestigious Medina Invitational
- The Final score from Oak Harbor in overtime. The Lady Rockets defeat the Clyde Fliers 46-42
- The Freshmen Boys start the season with a win over Vermilion 39-17.
- The Lady Rockets defeat the Huron Tigers tonight by the final score of 66-32.

- Congratulations to the Varsity Wrestling Team on their 2nd place finish at the Bellevue Invite highlighted by Matthew Dewitz placing 1st for the 3-time and secured his 100th career win and 182 Wyatt Miller placing 1st and receiving the Outstanding Wrestler Award

The school district was founded on July 1, 1967 due to the consolidation of the Benton Township School District, the Carroll Township School District, and the Salem-Oak Harbor School District.Benton-Carroll-Salem Local School District, home of the Oak Harbor Rockets, serves 1700 students on three campuses: R.C. Waters Elementary School (Grades K--3), Oak Harbor Middle School (Grades 4--7), and Oak Harbor High School (Grades 8--12).
