Time to become more familiar with the curriculum documents in itslearning
Opportunity to ask questions and/or clear-up confusion related to the curriculum documents
Times for teams to plan for the upcoming grading period
The sessions are organized by learning communities. The link below will take you to a spreadsheet that explains each session and the Eduphoria registration link.

Providing Input on Personalized Learning
The district Professional Learning Team will be visiting campuses to conduct informal interviews with a representative sample of teachers from across the district. The information gathered from the teachers will help to tailor future professional development to meet the needs of teachers, and ultimately the students in their care. A few sample questions teachers will be asked to share their thoughts on are shown below:
What do you think personalized professional development means? What could it look like? (Definition)
Describe a PD experience which positively impacted your educational practice. What supported you in implementing the ideas in your own classroom?
Think of an inspirational conference, book, webinar, or face to face meeting, or other PD experience. What were the barriers which may have prevented the full implementation of those ideas in your classroom? (PD + Action)
What motivates you to be a critical change agent (create change in education) within the educational community?
What professional learning motivates you to stay in education versus leaving? (Change Agent)
What informal adult learning experience led to positive changes in your teaching practice, yet would not have fallen under the umbrella of traditional PD?
How do we better prepare ourselves to teach students in a world that is changing? (Mindset)
Think about what personalized professional learning might look like if it was designed solely with your needs in mind. How would you gather information or resources? How would you process, practice, and refine your learning? Who would join you on this journey?
