SHADY GROVE MATTERS WEEKLY UPDATE
October 22, 2023
The Administrator's Corner
Greetings SGMS families! This week we have the Scholastic Book Fair all week in the media center. Students will have an opportunity during their English classes to attend and purchase items. The book fair will also be available during our Family Dinner Night on October 26 at 6pm. Please come to have a delicious dinner and shop at the book fair. It is hard to believe that we are close to the end of the first quarter, October 31. Teachers are doing their best to update gradebooks to reflect all work submitted. Please remind your student(s) to turn in all work as soon as possible and please reach out to classroom teachers if you have any questions or concerns. Each week, students have some time in Homeroom to complete work so please remind students to utilize their time by being on task.

It's time for the SGMS Scholastic Book Fair! We need lots of help to make this a success. Even if you can only sign up for ONE time slot, anything is a HUGE HELP!!! And, we are still looking for a chair for this event and can promise you the time commitment is minimal since the media center specialists will also be helping out.
