MISSION: IGNITING A PASSION FOR LEARNING
Message from the Principal
We hope that all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Amazingly, the first trimester wrapped up this past Tuesday and our second trimester officially begins on Monday, November 29. One-third of our school year is already in the books!
November was packed with many great things at KHS. Our students shared their musical talents in Legally Blonde November 12 and 13. A big thank you to all of the students, staff, and parents that assisted with this wonderful production. Key Club sponsored its annual Thanksgiving Dinner for Senior Citizens on Saturday, November 20. Approximately ninety people benefitted directly from this wonderful event. Finally, our NHS induction took place on Monday, November 22. This prestigious organization welcomed twenty-two new members, and we were able to celebrate their commitment to scholarship, leadership, service and character.
Winter sports are officially in full swing. Please remember to check out our athletic calendar so you don't miss any of our KHS athletic action in the months ahead. Nothing warms a cold winter evening like a packed field house:)
December is sure to fly by as we approach the holiday season. Please encourage your son or daughter to invest heavily in the weeks ahead to ensure a great start to the second trimester. When the holidays do arrive, we hope that each of our KHS families enjoys a wonderful holiday season.
Be well,
Scott Stier - KHS Principal
