Using Memes in Your Classroom

I LOVE a good meme! Have you ever thought of the educational value of using them in your classroom? What about having the students create memes based on educational content, such as:

  • Class Rules
  • New Vocabulary
  • Novel Studies
  • Historical Events
  • Hooks for Lessons

This short article shows 5 ways to use memes with students.

If this sounds like something you or your class would have fun with, let me know and I'll be happy to help you get started!

By the way, the one below hung in my classroom for many years! ;-)

Ms. Maguigan's Class LOVES Quizizz!

It's so much fun to see students actively engaging with meaningful technology!

Ms. Maguigan's class was reviewing Matter. Her tip on reviewing was to play a Kahoot! first, so that you can take time to discuss the questions, then have the class take a Quizizz over the same content.

Awesome job to you and your class, Ms. Maguigan!
