Spring Clever Wear
If you are ready to update your Clever Wear with spring and summer styles we have the Care To Learn School Spirit Store for you! A special Red, White and Bluejays design is available too. This will take place of our summer Red, White and Bluejays order. Proceeds from sales will directly benefit students in the Clever R-V School District. Thank you for your support.
Archery Team Highlights
The 2023 archery season is well underway. The team is comprised of over 60 members ranging from 6th to 8th grade. They are scheduled to complete almost every weekend between now and spring break with competitions at home, Crane, Joplin, Skyline, and Billings. The team will once again attend the state competition in Branson in hopes to repeat and qualify for the national meet later this spring. We wish them the best of luck on their season. Coach Childers is excited about the talent and is looking forward the season.

OZART Winner!
Sixth grader Mollie Stokes was the local winner of the OZART award. She entered a piece using the Paper Batik technique. The theme of her piece was called "Brought to Light." It will be hung at the Wonder Works Museum in Branson for visitors to view. Congratulations to Mollie Stokes for her accomplishment.
Leader In Me Student Action Team Spotlight
Academic Team Highlights
The Clever Elemiddle Academic Team competed against 10 teams from 8 schools in the Strafford Middle School Winter Academic Tournament on Saturday, January 21. Coach Bloxom stated the team performed better than they have in the past, but did not place in the top three. "We had a little fun and got a lot better." Clever did, however, have four students place in the top 20 highest individual point earners: Liam Nelson 13th, Rylan Clements 11th, and Ethan Kenly 10th. Hunter Donan earned a place on the All Tournament Team by being the 7th highest individual point earner at the tournament. Go Bluejays!
Study Island Academic Challenge
The 3rd quarter challenge is underway and all students are eligible to earn the incentive no matter if they met the goal during 2nd quarter or not. Students that complete all their grade level lessons in Math and ELA along with being in good academic standing will be able to attend a bowling celebration in May!
Student Technology/Chromebook Reminders
Students bring a charged chromebook with them daily. Chargers may be brought to school in the event that the device charge won’t last all day.

Headphones are required for students to be able to listen to the recorded videos lessons without disrupting others. Earbuds are not allowed to be used during class or passing times.
Damage to a student device should be reported IMMEDIATELY! The damage will be assessed by the technology department and invoice will be generated for any repairs needed. The school does NOT cover the cost of any damaged device unless it is within factory warranty.

Chromebooks should be stored in a protective case when they are not being used. The dimensions of student devices are 11.6 inch for those looking to buy one online or a local retail store.

Spring Softball Interest
Tryouts for girls interested in softball should contact Coach Smith as soon possible. Tryouts will begin at the end of the month.
Spring Baseball Interest
Tryouts for boys interested in baseball will begin on Monday, February 20th. Please contact Coach Anderson if you have any questions.

Canvas Access From Home
Having trouble logging into Canvas from a home device? Here is a quick how-to video to assist with the process. Students will need to use their @cleverbluejays.org login and Google password. This is the same credentials they use everyday when logging into their chromebook at school. If you are having trouble, please reach out to the middle school office.
