Pennsylvania Department of Education Cancels Statewide Assessments
Message from Superintendent Mehalick
Dear Crestwood Families,
I hope each of you are doing well and adjusting to our current situation.
The Crestwood School District, in accordance with Governor Wolf’s order to close all non-life sustaining business in Pennsylvania, is adjusting building access to our three campuses.
Governor Wolf has taken the more aggressive action to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Therefore, Rice and Fairview Elementary Campuses will be closed. No access to these buildings or campuses will be available at all until further notice.
The secondary campus will be open for essential personnel only. Specifically, food service, Crestwood School Police, and myself will be present on the secondary campus.
I appreciate the cooperation and the patience of our CSD family and look forward to sharing more information regarding the state of education in the Crestwood School District as soon as more is available.
I ask each of you to stay positive, calm, and do something fun with your family each day. We are all Comet Proud and Comet strong.
Have a wonderful weekend and if you need anything from me or our district please reach out to us.
Thank you,
Bob
