Principal's Update

Welcome back to campus Panthers!


We have had a very smooth re-opening to campus and I want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for your support, diligence to new safety procedures, and understanding as we navigate our new normal at school. I also want to thank our teachers for their support in a safe re-opening. Students returned to campus this week and were eager to be back in class. We will make this a wonderful year even with our increased safety precautions and modified schedule.

Level 2 Hybrid Schedules

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday


AM Cohort: 8:00am - 10:30am

PM Cohort: 12:00pm - 2:30pm


When students are not on campus they are expected to be completing asynchronous work.

Arrival/Dismissal Procedures

Student safety is a top priority. Changes to arrival and dismissal procedures are in place to help support social distancing, as well as to keep students safe.


ARRIVAL PROCEDURES

Gates will open 10 minutes prior to the start of the cohort.

7:50am for AM Cohort

11:50am for PM Cohort


Parents/guardians will walk students to the assigned gates with appropriate social distancing for students to enter campus. If driving, please pull up to the flag pole to unload your student. Students will walk through the gates to their class line on the blacktop.


DISMISSAL PROCEDURES

10:30am for AM Cohort

2:30pm for PM Cohort


Parents/guardians will wait at the assigned gates with appropriate social distancing for students to exit campus. Students will stay with their teachers and move to an assigned area on the grass to wait for parents/guardians. If driving, please pull up to the flag pole for your child to get in the car.


Parents needing assistance from the front office staff will wait outside the office until a staff member is able to greet them.

Updated Face Mask Requirement

Recently NMUSD updated the requirement for face coverings for all students over the age of 2. Students are expected to wear their mask over their nose and mouth through the entire school day.

USagain Battle of the Schools Collection Challenge through October 14

Please consider donating your gently used clothing, shoes, and linens into the USagain TreeMachine located in the Paularino Parking Lot. Paularino has a chance to win $2,000 for our school! The Collection Challenge ends October 14, so don’t wait to clean out your closets!

Need a Device?

For students still in need of a chromebook or the chromebook is not working, please contact the front office (714) 424-7950. We now have chromebooks available at the site. You will make an appointment with the front office to pick up a device. We want to ensure each student has a working device for Distance Learning.

Attendance

Attendance will be taken each day at the beginning of the cohort sessions. If your child will be absent, continue to call the attendance line at (714) 424-4742.

Grab & Go Meal Service

Grab & Go Lunches are provided for each student every day at the end of their cohort session.
