Creating Comics in Class
with Google Presentation
If you don't have one yet...Create a Google account.
Click on the following link to create an account.

Go to your Google Drive.
Click on the link below, or go to any Google app...search, gmail, etc and click on drive in the upper portion of the browser window.

Click "Create"
Create a new presentation.
Click "presentation"
Choose a theme.
"Simple Light" is the most basic and works best for comics.
Title your presentation.
Go to top of presentation and click on "Untitle presentation". This allows you to type your title.
Choose a background.
Click on background.
Find a fun background.
Next to "image", click "choose.
Find just the right thing.
Use the "search" feature.
Apply your great image to all pages then click "Done".
"Apply to All" will set the background for all pages in your presentation. This works great for a comic!
Find your characters
Use "search" again to find just the right characters. Illustrations work best.
Resize and place your image.
Or try Openclipart. org for other great character images.
Find image, click "png", right click and select "copy image", return to your presentation and click on your screen, right click and paste image.
Find a second character and add to your presentation.
Add some dialog with callouts.
Choose a call out shape from the Insert menu.
Double click in the call out and type in text.
Use the Google Presentation toolbar to...
Add color, fonts, or make it bold! Select insert then animate to make your call outs fade in...
Use duplicate slide to save time!
Get creative and explore the other tools and options!
