Translating for IEP meetings in TISD
The interpreter trainings were cancelled due to our ice day last week. We have picked a reschedule date and Eduphoria is being updated. Please sign up in Eduphoria if you would like to participate. The new date is Tuesday, January 30. We will be duplicating the training to allow for either a morning or afternoon attendance. Times are 8:30-9:30 and 2:30-3:30.
Updated EE enrollment procedures
As we grow and learn through our processes, we discovered a need for pre-enrollment for our students being evaluated through our early childhood evaluation team. This will help support address verification as well as allow for LPAC testing if the home language survey indicates the need prior to the ARD committee meeting in which placement is determined. With this new process, all parents who have children that are referred for the EE evaluation team will be asked to enroll their children online within the first 10 days after receiving an email or communication with Mrs. Brizzard or a member of the EE evaluation team. 3 year olds will be asked to register online indicating their campus of residence, while 4 year olds will be asked to register online indicating the campus they would be zoned if attending PK. Please click to find the full flowchart and procedures.

SHOUT OUTS!
- Alicia Futch is an incredible assessment team member! I appreciate her work ethic, sense of humor, and her offers to support our evaluation team.
- From Mrs. Jordan, Principal at CES: I wanted to take a moment to celebrate Ms. Bonds and Dr. Garza for hosting a CAT tools training with our teachers and paras. They even pulled in students to ensure they could access the tools independently. We are so grateful for their support and how eager they were to support our campus. We can’t thank you enough for making this a priority!
