MIDDLE MATTERS
Everything in the Middle School that matters
As we enter into our second week of distance-learning, we hope you are doing well. Considering all the challenges that come in a distance learning environment, the MMS teaching staff is very proud of our students. Thank you to families for making the most of this difficult time and embracing the learning opportunities provided in a distance learning format. We will strive to continue to get better and provide the best middle school experience we can.
Here is some important information about upcoming opportunities and helpful resources.
Internet Access for MS and HS Students
We understand that internet access and service has been a barrier during distance learning. As a district, we are trying to be creative in offering resources for students. Due to COVID, there are limitations on resources available at this time. We are offering an opportunity for students to access the internet at the middle and high school buildings during scheduled times. This time is to provide internet access only; to do homework, watch recorded sessions, upload assignments, etc. By following the governor’s mandate, this opportunity is available to the first 50 students each day and it is on a first come, first serve basis. Any 6-12 students can come for part or all of the two hour session.
Here are a couple of transportation resources if you are needing help with transportation needs.
