Graham Family News
Oct. 26-30
Hello Grizzly Families!!
I can’t believe we are entering the last week of October. The school year is moving along at a rapid clip! How is your student doing with their learning so far? Our teachers have the answers to this question and more at your student’s conference this week. If you haven’t signed up yet, there is still time! Please contact your teacher to arrange a time to meet.
Some of the information discussed will be their current grades in Math and English, identifying needs and supports along with celebrating their successes! It is an important conversation you don’t want to miss.
Student will be released from school at 11:30 but they might still have some assignments to complete. This week is a great time to caught up for some of our students who have fallen behind in their work.
Student Success Tip!
Check to be sure your student is watching their instructional videos. Each teacher is looking for a specific strategy that the lesson teaches and can easily tell when the kids didn’t watch the video. The student usually gets their work wrong. :( The videos are an important part of their learning.
If your student is watching their videos and still getting their work wrong, please and always feel free to reach out to their teacher. We have times built into each day where students can get extra help. We do not expect our students to have to learn on their own. We are here for them! :)
Due Date Extended!!
The District has reopened the form for deciding on continued distance learning or return to hybrid when it is safe to make the move. If you have not filled out the form yet, please take a moment to do this. While our current numbers indicate that the move to hybrid is not in the near future, there is a lot of planning that needs to go into the process for when it is safe to do so and knowing what our families need will help us to plan thoughtfully.
