Happy New Year, Thomas Families!
Back to Work! Thomas Tigers jumped back into the classroom smoothly! They were excited to see friends and share stories of their vacations. Many were happy to be back in a routine. We are proud of our students. What a fantastic first week back to school, bringing in the new year! | Best Wishes for a Terrific 2022! Happy 2022, Thomas Families! With a new year comes goals and New Year's Resolutions. Students have been busy reflecting on learning progress this week in order to set several academic, behavioral, and/or leisure goals for themselves. Ask your kiddos what they are focused on in their learning. | Sharing Our Celebrations! What a treat to walk down our primary hallway to discover holidays and celebrations our students enjoy. Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Posadas Navidenas are a few holidays our students have recently experienced. How fun it is to learn from each other! The staff at Thomas Elementary hope you were able to celebrate during your winter break! We are now rejuvenated, refreshed, and ready to continue our learning journey! |

COVID-19 update
Dublin City Schools is finalizing contingency plans in the event of excessive teacher and student absences due to the recent surge of COVID-19 cases. We are doing everything possible to keep our students in class, and have no plans to move the entire District into remote learning mode. However, if staff absences exceed capacity for substitute teachers, individual school(s) may need to be temporarily shifted to remote learning on short notice. If this becomes necessary, principals will communicate directly with their communities via email, phone call and text message.
