In July, as the new school year approaches, Back-to-School information can be found on the Center Grove District website. Stay up-to-date on what is happening by checking your e-mail and visiting the website. We'll see you next year!

Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is seeking support in providing t-shirts for all MG students next school year 2023-24. We are asking companies to sponsor the t-shirts. We will put your company logo on the back of the t-shirts. Your contribution will not only benefit the students, but it will also give your company widespread exposure during the Fun Run, school field trips and Star Olympics.

We would greatly appreciate any assistance in making this initiative a reality. Your generosity will enable us to create a positive and unified school environment for our students.

If your child has medication in the MGES Clinic, please plan on picking those up by the end of the day on May, 26th 2023. All medications left after the last day of school will be properly destroyed.

If you are moving, especially if you are withdrawing from Maple Grove, there is a withdrawal form we need filled out.

If you are moving and NOT withdrawing from Maple Grove, no need to fill out that form. BUT, we do need your new address information. Please e-mail your new Proof of Residency (any piece of mail or purchase/rental agreement with your name and address on it) to Jessica George at georgej@centergrove.k12.in.us as soon as you can with the date that did or will change.

All absences should be entered into our Pick Up Patrol. We no longer have an attendance line. Open PUP> Click on your child's name>click on the drop down menu>under "Plan" choose "Absent"> Under "more info." add reason for absence> Click Submit. If you have more than one child absent, you will do the same thing for the next one. If you have any questions, click on the link below for Pick Up Patrol tutorials.

If your child is coming in late due to an appointment, you can put them in "Early Dismissal/appointments at 9:00am and in the notes put "coming in late due to appt."

Reminder: If you DO NOT have a car tag #, you cannot choose to make your student a car rider in Pick Up Patrol. You must have a Car Tag # to get in the Car Line. The car tag needs to be in your car every day. If you do not have your car tag, you will need to have your ID ready.

Please be sure that all cars participating in carline are using all three lanes. By using all three lanes we prevent Whiteland Road from backing up. We appreciate your cooperation and help!

Want to volunteer in your child's classroom, go on the field trip or participate in class parties/events? Background checks are required to volunteer at MGES. Click HERE to get to the district background check page on the website.

Need to check to see if your background check is still good? Call our district office at 317-881-9326 and speak with Krista Mennel, ESC receptionist.

*Please note: background checks are for classroom volunteers; visitors are still not permitted in the building during the school day. Volunteers need to check in at the window in the foyer with your driver's license/identification card in order to receive a badge and enter the school building.

Please remember to have your student bring a water bottle (with their name on it) and a snack to school every day. If you would like to make a snack donation to your child's classroom, that would be great. Make sure it is a healthy snack. We appreciate your help.

Enter appointment information into Pick Up Patrol under "Early Release". (Even if you will be bringing them back to school from an appointment), you must enter the information into Pick Up Patrol. (This does NOT go into "Plan Changes". Plan changes are for how your child is going home if there is a change.)

After entering the pick up information, you will be asked for the time, reason, and the FULL NAME of the person picking up your child. You can add any other information you feel is necessary, including what they will do at dismissal.

• Exterior doors remain locked throughout the school day. Please ring the doorbell if you need assistance.
• The vestibule (entryway) is secured. Visitors/Parents will not be permitted in the building beyond the vestibule. If you are dropping off a child or picking up a child from the clinic, you will check in with Mrs. Schneider and your child will meet you in the vestibule. If you are picking up your child/children for an early dismissal, PUP must be updated with the students early dismissal plans in order for us to allow a parent into the building.
• If you need to drop off/pick up items from school, there is a pass-through door located next to Mrs. Schneider. Make sure your child's name/room # or teacher name is on the item(s).
• Be sure to have your ID on you at all times when entering the building. We will still be checking ID's before any student can be checked out of the building.
  
• All students being picked up at the end of the school day will be a part of our car rider line.
