Teaching this outside class will allow students to maintain a safe distance, with not only fresh air but also a time to enjoy the river view and the beauty that surrounds our library. Come join us outside as we work together toward a healthier you during these challenging times. A limited number of mats and blocks will be provided. There is no fee, although donations are appreciated.
About The Instructor -Moving back to Port Byron from Philadelphia, Marybeth brought her years of teaching yoga to the Quad Cities. Marybeth received her certified yoga teacher training locally, from the Davenport School of Yoga. She also holds teacher training certificates specialized in Chair Yoga (for folks with limited mobility or balance concerns) and the Prison Yoga Training.
Marybeth welcomes all shapes, ages, mobility, and experience levels to her classes. Her youngest student has been four years old, her eldest student 94 years old. In addition to over 10 years of teaching yoga, Marybeth also brings over 35 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
