Jack:A Writer
Reflections of a Writer That doesn't like writing that much
I'm a Writer Who doesn't really like writing that much
I'm a writer who doesn't like writing that much. I don't really have a problem with typing, but I hate writing a whole story by hand. I'm not all that enthusiastic about typing up a story, but, as I said earlier, I don't really have a problem with it either. I have an average level of confidence with free writing, but when I have to write something like a book report, I'm not exactly good at it. I don't usually enjoy sharing my writing. I don't really know why, I just don't.
inspiration
I usually draw my inspiration from 1 thing: randomness.
Genres
I usually write crazy nonfiction
process
since we just started the school year literally less than 2 weeks ago, I haven't published anything yet, so I don't really have a specific way I pre write, revise, edit, or really do anything but freewrite.
A Memorable Experience
My First Book Report
My first book report was in fourth grade. I did it on Where the Red Fern Grows. I really liked the book, but not so much the book report, which was 5 paragraphs, by the way. I found this a a good and bad experience. I think it helped me become a better writer, and also helped me come to the decision that if you have something you have to do, and it's hard, then you might as well do your best, even if it makes it harder. What I took out of this as a bad experience was how much I hate handwriting.
6th Grade Writing Goals
1. My First Writing goal is to write at least one Legitimate 2+ page story this year.
2. My second Writing goal this year is To develop at least half neat handwriting.
3. My third writing goal for this year is to make sure that capitalization is a habit by the end of the year.
