HAPPENINGS OF THIS WEEK
First Day Jitters

High Tea with Mrs. Teitzman
Mrs. Teitzman started off the year by introducing the students to the concept of English High Tea. Not only did they make the best finger sandwiches on a 3 tier serving tray, but scones with fresh whipped cream. Yakira and Dani are almost ready to dig in.
Middle School Visit to Yesteryear Village
Group Picture
Yesteryear village is a living museum located in West Palm Beach. Students took a step back in Florida's history to understand how the pioneers lived and the decisions they faced.
School House
Students took a class in the one room school house that operated from 1913-1965. Domingo and Nikko had some very insightful questions.
Fire House
Fighting fires was just as important back them as it is now. We learned just how hard it was 100 years ago with the equipment they had.
Visiting with Tootsie
Stephania and Adam meet Tootsie, a cow horse. Our students learned the importance of a good cow horse to help with the "cow hunt" , otherwise known as a round-up.
Hanging in the Cow Hut
Students learned all about the cow trade and its role in life in early Florida History. Nikko and Jennifer made a new friend with the local cow hearding dog.
Picnicing with the local Blacksmith
Students sat down to a picnic lunch as we listened and watched the blacksmith forge some nails and brand a piece of wood.

Jennifer created a color coded foldable of the scientific method
Alice and Kaitlyn preparing High Tea
Happy Birthday Richard!
Miniature Horses at the School
