Prohibited Concepts in Public Instruction
The TGA wants its membership to be aware that the public can make comments regarding Tennessee's bill banning the teaching of critical race theory.
Although the issue is not specifically geographic in nature, we feel compelled to share with you the following responses to the bill:

The draft rule (provided as a file download below) is to be promulgated to implement Section 51 of Chapter 493 of the Public Acts of 2021. This draft rule will be posted for public comment for 10 days, starting Monday, Aug. 2, through Wed., Aug. 11.
