Tri-University Event for Seniors

On Thursday, September 6th, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, seniors will meet with representatives from all three Arizona public universities (Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and University of Arizona) for a combined in-depth program to learn about the college admission process, scholarships and financial aid, and information about each university.


*Seniors, along with their parents are welcome to attend this district-wide event.

The Realities of College Recruiting

On Wednesday, August 22nd, at 7:00 pm, Agua Fria High School will host an event for students who are considering playing sports in college.


Jack Renkens, a nationally known speaker and motivator, will be covering several topics, including:


  • Getting Families Realistic
  • NCAA Eligibility Center
  • How College Coaches Recruit
  • Clubs/Camps/Showcases
  • How to Market Yourself

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Opens October 1st, 2018

Seniors need to be ready to begin the application as soon as October 1st. Agua Fria High School will host workshops throughout the school year to support our families with this process. Students will receive information in their Google Classroom as well.

Agua Fria High School Counselors are utilizing Google Classroom as a tool to support college and career readiness!

Google Classroom provides access to college and university information, scholarship opportunities, important test dates, programs of study and so much more! Students must log in to their Agua Fria email accounts to gain access to the classroom. Make sure to check out the Google Classroom app as well!
