Virtual Learning Continues

As we ready ourselves for our fourth week of virtual learning, I must say thank you to one and all for their patience and understating as we move forward. Teachers have been working around the clock, parents are juggling their lives with schoolwork and the "newness" of virtual learning has begun to wear off for some. It's important to set aside a time each day for students to work on their studies. It gives them a sense of routine in a world that has been lifted on its access. It is hard to believe that Easter is on the horizon. There will be no "virtual school" on Good Friday and I bet we are all looking forward to April Vacation in a couple of weeks. I've had some good feedback regarding Catch up Fridays. They are meant provide respite, renewal and a chance to catch up.

Stay tuned to developments regarding COVID-19 by checking email and school correspondence. click HERE for latest update (4/3).

Mondays will continue to be drop off/pick up days for work. Stay six feet from one another, stay healthy, and God Bless.

Nurses Corner - Important news and updates

The Diocese of Worcester and St. Anna have your child's safety and health in mind.

COVID-19 is a respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) virus, and we are leaning more about it every day. There is currently no vaccine to protect against COVID-19 at this point.

The best way to prevent infection is to avoid being exposed to the virus that causes it. Stopping transmission of the virus through everyday practices is the best way to keep people healthy. Rest assured, we at St. Anna have done a deep cleaning for the arrival of students when the time comes. Continued sensitization of doors, railings, light switches and school furniture in the attempt to reduce the risk of transmission of spreading any viruses once we return to the building continue. We are utilizing antibacterial soaps and encouraging everyone to wash their hands regularly and cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing.

To prepare for possible community transmission of COVID-19, St. Anna is implementing virtual learning. With your help, students will remain engaged and up to date on subject matter even though they are not in the school building. Thank you teachers and parents for your commitment to our students.

Keep informed and up to date as changes occur in the protection against COVID-19. These sites are updated regularly with the latest guidance regarding accurate data from the scientific community.
