SSD
The Solid State Drive (SSD) functions just like a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) but an SSD does not include any moving parts. The SSD in a computer is used to save and store any data you wish to put in it. It is much like a USB stick but bigger. Any data (eg. documents, pictures, files, etc.) you save onto your computer will be saved in the SSD. Data in the SSD can be accessed at any time when the computer is running. The amount of storage space in a SSD is measured in gigabytes (GB).
