The Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in Wiltshire, England. It is situated right near a very busy highway
Descripton
The Stonehenge is a large rock formation. The large stones stand in a circle with 8 main stones standing in the middle ( 4 pairs of 2). There are 3 types of stones that the Stonehenge is made out of and they are blue stone, Sarsen and Welsh sandstone
Why it was built
The reason the Stonehenge was ranges from human sacrifice to astronomy.
When it was built
The Stonehenge is believed to have been built around 3100 BC by the indigenous people.
