Greetings,
First and foremost, I would like to thank all the community members who contributed to all the acts of kindness and appreciation directed towards staff this week. The gestures were heart felt and deeply appreciated by the staff here at Bridger.

I also would like to give a huge shoutout to Chi, a Bridger parent, who shared his story and the art of Tai Chi with Bridger students in honor of AAPI month. Thank you Chi!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Best,
Dr. Kristy Mize
Saludos,
¡Gracias Chi!

Bridger CSS Summer Dates
Dear Bridger and CSS families,
What an exciting time! Our two schools are becoming one and we have many wonderful things to look forward to as a combined community!
We are modifying a much-loved Creative Science School tradition to this year host informal Summer Get-Togethers as a way for students and families to socialize and continue building community.
Summer Get-Togethers offer an opportunity for:
Incoming students to meet others that might be in their class next year and to begin building connections and fostering a sense of community.
Families to get to know one another and celebrate our changing, growing community.
Families to ask questions about our school: the culture, storyline, constructivism, the PTA, what the food in the cafeteria is like…. You know, all the random questions you wondered about but weren’t sure who to ask before your child started school, (especially if your student is just beginning school).
Linked HERE you will find a spreadsheet with the dates, times, locations and details of the Summer Get-Togethers. Two will be focused on younger students, and one will have a mid-level focus, but all Bridger CSS students and families are welcome and encouraged to attend any and all. Our kick-off Summer Get-Together will be at the Bridger playground as an evening BYO Picnic!
We are looking for two volunteer hosts for each Summer Get-Together. Ideally, we’d have one host coming from CSS and one host coming from Bridger for each date. Your role as a host is simply to welcome families, informally facilitate introductions and answer any questions that may come up about our upcoming school year. Anyone can sign-up to host! Get-Togethers generally run about 1.5 hours. To host one of the Summer Get-Togethers, just enter your name and contact information onto the spreadsheet, show up on your date to the park you selected, and have fun!
Even if you can’t host a get-together, please mark your calendars and plan to attend as your summer schedule allows. These are always a fun way to stay connected and will build new memories with our growing, changing Bridger CSS community.
