MLK Day of Service

Reflect Back and Look Forward

MLK Day of Service

In 1983, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal Holiday became a national day of service – a "day on, not a day off." The MLK Day of Service encourages individuals from all backgrounds to work together to provide solutions to national problems. The MLK Day of Service “empowers individuals, strengthens communities, bridges barriers, creates solutions to social problems, and moves us closer to Dr. King's vision of a "Beloved Community”.

Join UW Bothell and Cascadia Community College for the Annual MLK Day of Service as we “Reflect Back and Look Forward.”

Sponsored by Achieving Community Transformation (ACT), ASUWB, Cascadia Student Government, Cascadia Community College Student Life, UW Bothell Student Affairs, and UW Bothell Community-Based Learning & Research.
