Family Focus

This year we are taking more of a family focused approach to homework. We believe that spending quality family time is vital in the success of your student. We will provide family friendly, engaging homework activities and assignments. We would love if you would send us pictures of these activities and share them with us.

This weeks Family focus: Read with your family and as you read discuss the events of the story and create a BME- Write a sentence about what happened in the beginning, middle and end and then draw a picture to illustrate each sentence.

ELAR: We will discuss retelling the events of a story, identify and describe how text features help us as we read, and discuss common and proper nouns.

Math: This week we will use different strategies to solve addition and subtraction word problems.

Social Studies: We will discuss the importance of and recite the pledge.
