St. Mark News

November 6, 2017

Dear St. Mark Families,

Our annual Halloween events were a great hit! Luckily, we had beautiful weather for our Halloween Fair and Trunk or Treat. Mrs. Del Rossi, our 8th Grade students, and all our parent volunteers worked hard to make sure the children had a blast at the fair and all ran smoothly. I didn’t know where to look first at Home and School’s Trunk or Treat! The creativity of the car creations amazed me! Thanks to all of our parents who put in so much time and effort to create such a magical night! Finally, our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students had a ball hanging out with their classmates at our Halloween Dance. Thanks to our Home and School for organizing the event!

It is hard to believe that we are already more than half way through the first marking period. The children are doing a wonderful job with their creative writing assignments. I found the 8th grade students’ writing about the Four Marks of the Church very touching. Their reflections on various Bible verses were enlightening. I am very proud of how beautifully they are able to express their thoughts.

As we spend time this month celebrating All Saints and All Souls Day, and remembering our loved ones who have passed away, I pray that all of us find peace and comfort knowing someday we will be together again.

God bless you,

Mrs. Sanson
