Feedback from staff
As we start second quarter, our staff would like to share some feedback to help your students be successful.
Most critical tasks for students:
- Set a weekly calendar.
- Email teachers with questions.
- Turn on camera during Google Meets.
- Stay on the Google Meet after class ends to ask questions.
Feedback for parents/guardians:
- Read the weekly overview so you know what students are expected to do each week and what resources are available.
- Have your student reach out directly to teachers through email.
- Check student grades in Skyward.
- Encourage your students to work on their work throughout the week. In the morning before classes is a great time to do this!
- Help your child develop daily goals.
- School staff are working really hard and we appreciate the diligence of the students' work and focus.
- Help your student set up a work space.
- We are making changes as we go to ease confusion and workload.
- We all work with students who need extensions, as long as they communicate their needs. We are willing to work with students who need adjustments to how or when they complete assignments.
