el objeto directo y sus pronombres
un repaso gramatical..
primero, inglés...
So what IS an object??? OK in language, there are
- subjects: the people or things that DO/PERFORM the action (John speaks)... and...
- objects: the people or things that RECEIVE the action (John speaks Spanish)
ok so what´s a pronoun then???
- pronoun means NOnoun. (repeat 100x before bed, daily :)
- Pronouns take the place of a noun that you do not want to repeat in the course of telling your story....so they may be words like ¨it, them, him, her, us¨etc. ie: I bought a car, I bought IT at Carmax...
- they avoid redundancy (repetition) and overstatement of the obvious and make your communication more fluid and seamless.
segundo, español... (lógico.. :)
Direct Object pronouns, the him, her, it, us, them of it all ...
me: me / you: te / him, her, it: lo & la / us: nos / you guys: os / them & you all: los & las...
- you notice that lo/la/los & las will need to agree in number and gender with the noun they are replacing..
- they go IN FRONT of the conjugated verb, so if ¨I love chocolate¨ in English, in Spanish ¨I IT love¨..
