Ski PE went so well this week! Students had so much fun- smiles were everywhere from the start to the end! We will run things the same this next week. Here are some important reminders:

1. Breakfast is not served on Tuesdays during Ski PE

2. Please make sure when picking up ski equipment at the end of the day that it is your child's things. We did have an incident this week where someone else's skis were taken from the front of the school.

3. 1st and 2nd grade: Students (parents can help) will bring their boots into the school through the gym doors. Students when then go to their regular meeting area (1st grade- playground, 2nd grade- by the gym doors.)

4. Don't forget to allow extra time to get to school on Ski PE Days!

We had our TES Accountability meeting on Wednesday, January 11th. We shared our mid year iReady data and focused on the growth of our students in literacy and math. Our next meeting is Wednesday, February 1st at 3:30 p.m at TES. We will be looking at the percentage of students reaching their expected growth on iReady, what DRA levels tell us about your child's reading, and how to read the iReady Parent Report. We would love to have you join us! The zoom link is below at the end of newsletter. We also love to have you in person!

If you are interested in volunteering in the classroom, please contact your child's teacher to find out the needs in their classroom. You must have a background check on file- the link is below at the end of the newsletter.

We hope everyone enjoys their 3 day weekend! We will see our Miner Bees on Tuesday, January 17th- ready for Day 2 of Ski PE!
