Bringing the World to Your Classroom....
If you wander around MMS, you will see countless instances of experiential learning. Students are taking digital field trips to ancient Rome, Egypt, Jamestown, and many other historic sites. Greek Games are being taught to them as part of Ancient History.
But that is not all, this week we have had visitors from the University of Illinois in Chicago. He is a PhD Candidate in Egyptology Studies, and another PhD candidate worked with students on a FlipGrid activity found here. Today, we will be visited by Henry from Uganda. He won't be Face-timing, he will be in person!
These are just a few of the examples of how you work to bring the world to our students here at MMS. Thanks for all that you do!

Winter is here!
A snow roller is a rare meteorological phenomenon in which large snowballs are formed naturally as chunks ofsnow are blown along the ground by wind, picking up material along the way, in much the same way that the large snowballs used in snowmen are made.

Marching for a Cause...
It is the time of year where we really start to notice students in need. If you see or know of someone here that needs a winter hat, gloves, or perhaps a coat, please let us know or direct them to MaryLiz. She has quite a stash that are donated. On that same note, if you have extras that you don't use, we can find homes for them!
Who am I? Two Truths & a Lie
1. I have nine siblings.
2. I met my husband on a blind date.
