Mulino Mustang News

Principal's Message

Dear Mulino Families,

It was wonderful to see our students back in the building today.

We celebrated the first day of March with STEAM Day! Our students had the opportunity to engage in a variety of science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities.

They were able to have meaningful conversations to solve problems with their peers, work as a team and create together.

All of this would not have been possible without the hard work of our teachers, especially Kelly Blackman our 1st-grade teacher, Jackie Anderson, our reading specialist, and Jennifer Reese one of our 5th-grade teachers. Also, a big thank you to our amazing parent volunteers: Kim Anderson, Kasey Stafford, Ashley Kantsuler, Melody Smith, Breanna Manley, and Patty-Jo Benz.

Tomorrow will be pajama day as we celebrate Read Across America Day and welcome Peter Valdez and Tasche Laine to share their passion for writing and illustrating with our students. They will also be here for a fun-filled literacy night at Mulino.

Bring your child/children, a good book or two and snuggle up with them at school.

Parent & Teacher Conferences March 15-17

Our teachers are looking forward to connecting with each family during our scheduled conference time. This is a great opportunity for families to have a one-on-one conversation with their child's teacher. Please schedule a time that works to come into the building or meet virtually with your child's teacher. Use the following link to signup for a time.
