CR West Week 5
To Know God and to Make Him Known
Presentations are Going Well
Now that we're five weeks into the year I can tell that the students are getting more and more comfortable with their presentations. If your child struggles with this skill, however, don't worry! Continue to work with your tutor to encourage your child, and celebrate even the smallest of victories. Be faithful to practicing a few times during the week. You can even set up an "audience" of stuffed animals, dolls, or action figures at home. Overall remember that presentations are both art and skill, and improvement and courage will develop in due time.

Ever wonder what the moms do at Essentials training?? Watch Pudewa videos and get our hair done, of course!
Nakia did a great job subbing for Stacey!
Do you have a Tin Whistle?
Remember the students will need to bring their tin whistle each community day starting Week 7, November 2nd. If you haven't purchased one yet you can buy one from our local book rep Karla Mount. Karla can be reached at email@example.com or 405-412-4220. Karla lives in The Meadows of Castle Rock.

Please join us at Marcy's home for Mom's Night Out! You can RSVP on our Facebook page. Hope to see everyone there!
On Monday we will choose a date to go on our community nature walk. We will meet at the MAC park to eat, play, and go for a walk together. The walk will be held the week of Oct. 19th. Bring your calendar to community day on Monday so we can pick a day that will work for as many people as possible. :)
Remember that this Monday is the Snowball fight and Ice Cream Party. The party begins at 12:40 in the Essentials classroom. Keep up the good work!!
