Message from Mr. McDermott
Parents,
Students are starting to receive consequences for being dropped off after the tardy bell. Please make sure you are dropping off early enough for your student to be in class by 7:10AM. Furthermore, we continue to see unsafe driving practices in the morning and afternoon. Please cooperate as we are concerned for the safety of all.
Thank you,
Mr. McDermott

Yearbooks
We sold out early last year. The only way to guarantee you get a yearbook is to preorder it early in the school year. This period will end March 3rd. Parents, if you purchase through the Student Pay portal, PLEASE double check your student's account. If you are not sure, email me (Mrs. Ingram) and I can tell you. Last year we had a number of seniors who thought their parent paid for a book, but the parent had paid for something else, like senior fees. It's heartbreaking to tell these seniors that we do not have a book for them. Before preorders end, we will post a list of everyone who has ordered. Please encourage your students to check this list to avoid this situation. Yearbooks can be purchased through Walsworth's site or through Pasco's Student Pay portal. If you are looking to pay by cash or check, please contact me directly. Current cost is $85, which will increase to $90 starting on September 1st.
If you have any questions regarding school photos or yearbooks, please email me at pingram@pasco.k12.fl.us
Picture Day
Picture Day will take place on Friday, September 9th. This is the photo that will appear on student IDs (which we usually get from Gigante a few weeks after Picture Day). For 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students, this is the photo that will appear in the yearbook. This photo will not appear for seniors in the yearbook. Students will go through their English class. Any student who is not enrolled in an English class on campus can arrive to the gym at any time during the day and check in at the front table for assistance. Picture Retakes will take place on October 7th. This day is for students who were absent on September 9th OR for students who purchased a package and are unhappy with the results. Orders will take place on Gigante's website. More info will be forthcoming as we get closer to that day.

Senior Ads
Sales are now open on Walsworth's site, www.yearbookforever.com (where you can also purchase a book with extras like a name stamp on the cover or additional autograph pages). Within the next week we will have paper forms available for those who wish to pay by check or by cash. The deadline to purchase a senior ad is December 16th. We sold out of ad space last year, so please don't delay if you are planning to purchase an ad for your senior.
