Attendance Matter
Attendance Matters
Successful schools begin by making sure kids are at school every single day. Parents, we need your help! Your children need to come to school on time every day. Our teachers are most anxious to have all of the children benefit from the lessons they have prepared. Students who are absent frequently miss important first instruction and have difficulty making up the work.
We urge all parents to keep students at home only when it is necessary for health reasons. While we do not want our students to attend school when they are ill, we do want them to come to school in all other school days. Students are more likely to succeed academically when they attend school consistently.

As a parent of a student at a campus receiving Title I funds, federal law allows you to ask for information about the certification, college major, and advanced degrees of your child’s teacher(s). You also have the right to request information about the qualifications of a teacher aide or paraprofessional providing direct services to your child. If you would like to receive this information, you may contact the Cypress-Fairbanks I.S.D. Human Resources Department at 281-897-4099.

Little Free Library
How Does This Library Work? This Little Free Library offers a way to share good things to read—favorite books from your childhood or books you would recommend to friends; books that teach, intrigue and engage you. All of us can help by keeping this collection stocked with the good reading material.
Whose library is this? It belongs to everybody -- neighbors, friends, and people we don’t even know yet. Anyone can use it. That’s why we want to take care of it. Take a book. If you see something you would like to read, take it. Look inside and see who gave it; who else has read it. Share it.
Return it to Little Library
Give books. Leave notes in them. Be a friend of all libraries by helping any way you can. Pay it Forward! We support reading for children, literacy for adults, and libraries around the world.

Reminder From the Nurse Aurty:
Please be aware that children that are sick should recover at home. A parent letter will excuse their absences. Also, please keep a change of clothes in your child’s backpack for bathroom accidents, particularly grades
Pre-K - 1st.
Be Wise Immunize.... Make sure the school nurse has the most recent copy of your child's immunizations.
Do not send medication with children. Adults have to bring all medication in its original, unopened, clearly labeled container to the school nurse.
