Chief Littlechild and Archbishop Smith's Statement on Kamloops and Reconciliation

Chief Littlechild and Archbishop Smith's Statement on Kamloops and Reconciliation | @ArchEdmonton

Wear orange to show our support and love this Tuesday, June 8th-We can love, we can pray, we can listen...

On Tuesday, June 8th, our EICS schools will be acknowledging the 215 children from the Kamloops residential school grave site discovery. We are asking students and staff to wear an orange shirt on that day, to pause for a moment between 2:00-2:15 pm for a brief recorded message from Central Learning Services and to take a moment of silence in honour of the children. The flags will be raised to full height the following day.

We can love, we can pray, we can listen...we can do better...

St.John Movement Fun Day hosted by our Grade 4 Healthy Living Leadership Team-June 11th

On Friday, June 11th, the Grade 4 Healthy Living Team will be hosting our St. John Movement Fun Day. All students will get the opportunity to participate in five activity stations with their cohort including: a relay race, scream run, and hula hooping contest.

Please make sure your child is dressed for the event with appropriate clothing and shoes as well as has a water bottle that they can take outside. Here are some pictures of the team working hard to prepare an information slideshow for the students and teachers. They are looking forward to building excitement next week by making announcements in the mornings!

Grade 3 students moving to Grade 4

Students entering grade 4 in the fall will need to bring a device to school as another tool for learning. EICS recommends Chromebooks as the ideal device due to price, battery life, fast startup, and usability.
