Transcription
When DNA is copied to RNA
steps to DNA to RNA
Step 1: One or more RNA polymerase binds to the DNA
Step 2: RNA polymerase move a transcription bubble
Step 3: Polymerase adds matching RNA nucleotide
Step 4: sugar phosphate backbone gets assistance from the RNA polymerase that forms RNA strand
Step 5: Hydrogen bond untwist RNA and DNA
Helps cells reproduce
it makes a new cell. the new cell is not identical to the old cell. this happens is asexual reproduction. RNA has Uracil instead of thymine.
