In need of tasteful, fresh, clean water
Imagine if you had to walk miles in the heat, just to have contaminated water. In Southern Sudan, girls have to walk 3.7 miles, carrying 40 pounds of water, sometimes multiple times a day. Millions of families are suffering without clean water, having to drink water with diseases in it, making it a higher risk to get a deadly illness. One way we can help all of these families are, by donating to Water for South Sudan: Iron Giraffe Challenge. Water for South Sudan is a fundraiser run by Salva Dut and men from Southern Sudan. The men build wells in cities in Sudan for families and others to have clean water.
Why should you donate and help ?
There are several reasons to help people and families in Southern Sudan. The 1st reason is that 5 million people in South Sudan don't have access to clean water. The second reason why you should help is that most people get illnesses that could kill them from the contaminated water. The 3rd reason is that people, mostly just girls, walk miles in the heat to get water. All of these problems would be solved if more and more people donate to WFSS so that more and more wells could be built in South Sudan.
Not enough money ? You can still donate !
Some people might not have enough money to donate. But every dollar, every penny, helps a family in South Sudan. You could donate just $1 and it would still help a ton. Regardless of this point, it doesn’t matter how much money or change you have, it matters if you donate anything.
