Principal's Corner
November 15th, 2019
Good evening GK Families,
Your students have worked very hard during 2nd quarter. If you have not already done so, I encourage you to take a moment to look at their grades in PowerSchool and discuss with your student how things are going in school at the halfway mark of 2nd quarter.
One of my favorite things about being a Cog is how generous and caring the Genoa-Kingston Community is. The students and staff of GKMS are collecting non-perishable food items for the Genoa Food Hub in town. On November 26th we will be having a Staff vs. Police basketball game to benefit the Genoa Food Hub. Students who turn in at least 5 non-perishable food items will be entered into a raffle to be part of the halftime free throw contest. We are also having classroom competitions. Classrooms that turn in the most non-perishable food items will have an opportunity to pie another staff member in the face. Check your cabinets and cupboards for non-perishables and send them in to GKMS.
Have a Cogtastic weekend!
